A new era of circular economy

A new era of
circular economy
co-creation

IINMO helps mid-sized cities and local manufacturing sites turn shared problems and circular approaches into shared solutions — starting with the real BUTs that usually block progress: time, money, complexity and competing priorities.

We can’t control global forces — but we can build a better local response.

Global pressure shows up locally — in budgets, costs, infrastructure, materials, skills, affordability and climate-related impacts. Global economic and geopolitical pressure becomes real where people live and work. Cities and local manufacturing sites feel it in budgets, costs, infrastructure, materials, skills, affordability and climate-related impacts.

Often overlooked, the leverage is already there: in systems we need and use every day — mobility, buildings, food and nutrient flows, and everyday goods.

Ready to move - but not alone!

What looks separate is locally connected.

The challenge is not lack of potential. Germany’s roughly 630 midsized cities and their thousands of local manufacturing sites hold significant hidden circular potential. The real challenge is fragmented action in common local service and support systems — creating significant redundancies and leaving leverage unused.

Why do we often work apart? At first glance, cities, companies and people seem to start from different perspectives, responsibilities, pressures and priorities. So we stay busy solving what seems to be our "own" issues.

What looks separate on the surface is connected underneath: futureproof jobs and skilled talent, prosperity and economic attractiveness, measurable climate progress and resilient systems, places where people want to live — and where companies want to operate and

invest. That is where common ground begins — and where working together

starts to make practical sense.

We’re all ready to move!

Consumers, cities and businesses aim for different outcomes, but many of their ambitions align: future-proof jobs and talented workforce, prosperity and economic attractiveness, measurable climate progress and resilient systems, great places to live and attractive locations, for all generations – today and tomorrow.

Through collaboration and co-creation, shared challenges can become shared solutions—making circularity more viable, increasing acceptance and planning security, shifting markets, de-risking change, and addressing economic pressure through circular innovation.

The IINMO concept

Your BUT is where we start.

Germany’s roughly 630 mid-sized cities hold significant hidden circular potential. Manufacturing businesses and city operations often face similar needs and obstacles, yet with limited budgets and resources they still tend to tackle them alone. That creates major redundancy and leaves leverage unused.

Build circular experience before touching the core business.

In mid-sized cities and local manufacturing sites, many everyday service and support operations concentrate in four systems: mobility

and transport, buildings and infrastructure, food and nutrient flows, and everyday goods - for business and private use.

For manufacturers, these areas are usually not core business. But they still create cost, effort, complexity and emissions — often in fragmented ways. Teams are lean, and many organizations solve similar issues separately.

IINMO’s focus is here: turning operational side issues into shared circular solutions that reduce effort, create mutual local value and make first steps easier to test.

Co-creation: our center of gravity

We do not bring ready-made answers into the room. We create the structure in which the right people can work on a real shared BUT — with enough trust, clarity and method to turn complexity into first solution options worth testing.

We design and guide the working space: the right people, the right framing, clear methods and concrete output. We help participants look beyond silos, uncover shared interests and opportunities, keep the momentum alive and shape credible next steps. And we stay with the messy part, where ideas have to become practical.

Circular Solutions & Economy Coaching

We help teams build the language, mindset and confidence to work with circular solutions in practice — with clear fundamentals, realworld examples and methods that make participation easier.

Circular Solutions & Economy Strategy Advisory

We help decision-makers clarify direction, priorities and risk boundaries. The aim is not strategy instead of action, but strategy that focuses co-creation where it can create real local value and credible

next steps.

Curious what co-creating circular solutions could mean for your manufacturing site, your city and the everyday service and support systems around them?

Co-Creation
Pilot Workshop

YOU BRING

A mid-sized-City.
A set of businesses.

A BUT.

Manufacturing companies face growing economic pressure. Circular economy approaches and new business models can help, yet progress often stalls at a “Yes, but…”: an uncertain business case, high investment needs, missing data or standards, weak take-back systems, or limited time, capabilities and incentives. Show us the challenge holding you back most, and the local partners and decision-makers needed to turn ideas into credible next steps.

WE BRING

A 3-step process that creates traction. Process Pre-Analysis,
Briefing validation,
Workshop Day.

We bring solution examples, a clear framework and the right structure for a joint pilot workshop. We help assemble the right mix of participants, create trust and openness, and guide the group with proven methods, clear facilitation and focused input. From preparation to follow-up, we turn shared challenges into practical, actionable solution ideas and a solid foundation for the next steps.

TOGETHER WE

Connect players. Build momentum.
Crack the BUT. Prototype action, as one team

In our pilot workshop, we turn a shared “Yes, but…” into a practical, decision-ready solution proposal. By building trust, creating focus and working through agile co-creation, we help shape an approach that can be challenged by decision-makers and developed into credible next steps.

We create motion where things get stuck. Together with optimism.
